We Built the Metric the Industry Was Missing

The influencer marketing industry crossed $30B in annual spend with no agreed way to measure earned value. Brands were paying for reach — impressions, follower counts, flat-CPM equivalencies. Finance could not audit it. Procurement could not price it.

EMV (Earned Media Value) and its cousins were formally criticized by AMEC's Barcelona Principles as unsuitable for outcomes measurement. Yet the industry kept using them because there was no alternative that finance teams would accept.

The Measurement Standard

IMS: An open, auditable framework

We built the Influence Measurement Standard (IMS) — three economic metrics and five quality dimensions designed to replace EMV with something finance teams can actually stand behind.

CVContent Value

The earned-media dollar value of a single creator post, scored across five IMS Content Quality dimensions. Finance-grade: auditable inputs, documented assumptions.

MRMarket Rate

The fair commissioning cost for a creator at their tier and platform, derived from benchmark data. Anchors budget decisions before a program starts.

IYInfluence Yield

CV divided by MR — the efficiency ratio that shows whether a creator over- or under-delivered relative to their cost. The number CFOs actually want.

IMS scores each post on five Content Quality dimensions: Presentation, Messaging, Resonance, Credibility, and Authenticity. Methodology and assumptions documented at evaplus.ai/ims.

A system of work, not a dashboard

EVA is not another analytics layer on top of the same manual workflows. The workspace vets rosters, stands up programs, scores posts as they land, and keeps an immutable record of what was approved, what shipped, and what the CV outcome was — all within a governed execution model.

Dry-run before every write

EVA previews the exact change before it touches any record. You confirm or cancel — nothing writes without explicit approval.

Immutable audit log

Every agent action — who initiated it, what ran, what was approved, what the outcome was — is logged with a capability ID and timestamp.

Canvas receipts on the program record

Post scores, approvals, and export artifacts land on the program canvas as receipts. Brand, legal, and finance can reconstruct any decision.

CV in dollars, not impressions

Content Value replaces vanity metrics with an auditable dollar score. Board-ready attribution without the manual slide-building.

Team

Who builds EVA

EVA is founded and led by operators who have run enterprise creator programs end to end — and built the measurement and execution layer the industry was missing.

  • Phi Nguyen

    Phi Nguyen

Founder & CEO · San Francisco, CA

Phi founded EVA after years building creator and influencer programs for brands including Spotify, UMG, F1, Disney, Google, and Sonos. That work made the gap obvious: influence spend was scaling, but the infrastructure to measure fit, quality, and ROI was not. EVA is the live intelligence system built to close it — roster vetting, governed program execution, and Content Value scored in dollars.

Customer References

Enterprise deployments are under NDA

Our customers are enterprise brands and agencies who require confidentiality as a condition of deployment. We can share customer references, program outcomes, and CV attribution data with named-company sign-off during a formal briefing.
